Clean Slate Expungement Provides Second Chances in Harvey This Saturday

Join NDICA, OAI, Inc., 2nd Ward Alderperson Colby Chapman and local leaders on June 8 for a transformative expungement event at Transformation United Methodist Church in Harvey.

The Clean Slate Expungement event is hosted by NDICA, OAI, Inc, Governors State Violence Prevention program, and City of Harvey, 2nd Ward Alderperson Colby Chapman.

The event will be held on Saturday, June 8, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Transformation United Methodist Church located at 15446 S. Lexington, Harvey, IL 60426.

The Clean Slate Expungement event is a beacon of hope for individuals with backgrounds, offering a second chance to reboot their lives.

By sealing or erasing past mistakes, expungement provides a fresh start, unlocking new opportunities for employment, education and personal growth.

This vital program helps individuals leave their past behind, reducing barriers and promoting a brighter future. By giving people a clean slate, “we empower them to become productive members of society, fostering safer and more compassionate communities for all.”

We’re thrilled to announce that a total of 200 attendees have registered, surpassing our expectations and demonstrating the immense need for this support.

“This gathering promises to be a powerful moment of connection, learning, and growth, and we’re honored to have such a large and engaged community coming together to support one another and drive positive change.”
