We’ve seen it before how the Barbershop is always caught up in the  times affecting the (Chicago) community in which it thrives and how somehow it manages to come out on top.  We saw  Calvin give up the dream sell his barbershop  to a loan shark and then have an epiphany  and get it back. We’ve witness a serious take over attempt  by the new  franchise Nappy Kutz and the  Barbershop wins because the barbers care about people and the community. So what’s  Calvin and his team of barbers going to do this time?

So it’s been more than 10 years since our last appointment at Calvin’s Barbershop. Calvin and his longtime crew are still there, but the shop has undergone some major changes. Most noticeably, our once male-dominated sanctuary is now co-ed. The ladies bring their own flavor, drama and gossip to the shop challenging the fellas at every turn. Despite the good times and camaraderie within the shop, the surrounding community has  has taken a turn for the worse, the crew at Calvin’s Barbershop come together to bring some much needed change to their neighborhood within which the barbershop  is centrally located.
