6th Annual KLEO Benefit Dinner & Gala

The 6th Annual KLEO Benefit Dinner & Gala will take place on Sunday, October 28, 2012 from 5:00 pm – 9:00 pm at the beautiful Alhambra Palace, 1240 W. Randolph, Chicago, IL in honor of 27-year-old Kleo Yolaughn Barrett.

Kleo, the youngest daughter of Pastor and Mrs. T.L. Barrett, Jr., was killed by an ex-boyfriend in 2007.

To keep her daughter’s memory alive and to help other women and children affected by domestic violence, Mrs. Barrett founded K.L.E.O. (formerly The Kleo Barrett Angel Foundation for Victims of Domestic Violence) with a mission to help eradicate domestic violence.

The event, hosted by Nina Chantele and T’shaun Barrett, will feature a silent auction, comedy by George Willborn and Damon Williams, and booths for various businesses, government agencies, and not for profits to highlight and promote their pro-peace initiatives and programs.

Music will be provided by the talented Candice Marie and sounds provided by world renowned Farley “Jackmaster” Funk.

Proceeds from this event will benefit victims of domestic violence and provide programs for surviving children.
