CHICAGO (AP) — Five people were injured when a car slammed into a glass bus shelter on Chicago’s West Side.

Authorities don’t yet know whether the five were passengers in the car or were waiting at the shelter early Saturday.

Chicago police say the crash was reported at about 2:20 a.m. Saturday.

A Chicago Fire Department spokesman says the five were in serious-to-critical condition. All five were transported to area hospitals.

The incident remains under investigation.
