They say, third time’s a charm… but what about the first? While a recognizable face in acting, Regina King finally got her first ever nomination and award for an Emmy last night. She won Best Supporting Actress in a Limited Series or a Movie, beating out heavy hitters like Kathy Bates, Sarah Paulson, and Angela Bassett for American Horror Story: Freak Show; Mo’Nique for Bessie, and Zoe Kazan for Olive Kitteridge.
