CHICAGO (AP) — Chicago fire officials say four people were hurt when an aerosol can ruptured during a cooking demonstration at the Macy’s store in the city’s Loop.
Fire officials say the accident happened Friday morning. They say an aerosol can was too close to a heating element. The store wasn’t open yet and there were no customers in the building. A woman and three men were taken to nearby hospitals.
A Macy’s spokeswoman says the accident happened on the store’s lower level in a kitchen area.
