The 20th Anniversary of the 37th Ward Gospel & Back-to-School Festival will take place from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 3, at LaFollette Park, 1333 North Laramie.
The event is free and open to the public. The event is hosted by 37th Ward Alderman & Committeeman Emma Mitts, the 37th Ward Pastors Alliance and Global Outreach Ministries.
The event will feature Christian Music Emcee Minister Tim White, at 11 a.m. In addition to the music, there will be food, free backpacks, prizes and games

It’s an honor tocelebrate twenty years of service to my community, in partnership with the wonderful people of the Austin and Garfield Park community on Saturday, August 3rd,” said Alderman Mitts.
