2025 Soar Awards: Gospel Legends Yolanda Adams, Smokie Norful & More to be Honored

Gospel music’s brightest stars are set to take center stage as the 2025 Soar Awards bring a night of soul-stirring performances and legendary honors to Chicago. Scheduled for Monday, March 3, 2025, at the Greenwood Oasis (7621 S. Greenwood Ave.), the awards will celebrate some of the most influential figures in gospel music.

This year’s event will be hosted by award-winning recording artist Jekalyn Carr and talk show host Willie Moore Jr., promising an evening filled with powerful tributes and unforgettable moments.

The 2025 Soar Awards will honor three gospel icons—Yolanda Adams, Smokie Norful, and Archbishop William Hudson—for their outstanding contributions to gospel music and their lasting impact on the faith community. Known for their inspiring messages of hope, love, and faith, these honorees have shaped generations through their music and ministry.
