The 2021 Chicago Defender Women of Excellence enjoyed an afternoon of networking and mingling at a mixer held at Row 24 Sunday afternoon. The mixer featured correspondent, Kenneth Sean Daly and was held in rotating groups of the 2021 honorees picked up their awards and enjoyed an opportunity to meet and network with their fellow nominees. The event was held according to social distancing and gathering guidelines in two-hour sessions.
Now in its 14th year, the Chicago Defender annually recognizes black women for their contributions to their communities and for their excellence in their respective professions. The 2021 Class join an elite group of influential and inspirational women positively affecting their communities through their leadership.
