What a difference a few years make. In 2014, J.R. Smith seemed to have bottomed out as an NBA talent in New York and he seemed imprisoned within his own personal purgatory.
But now Smith’s life has been resuscitated and resurrected and he seems to be on a whole new plateau now, as was evidenced by his teary-eyed interview after the 2016 NBA Finals. The reformed NBA bad boy was just crowned an NBA championship in June alongside LeBron James in a Cleveland Cavs uniform after he was banished from Madison Square and the hapless, listless and luck-less Knicks.
And now he has just gotten his second “ring” of the summer when he married what he calls his lover and best friend, Jewel Harris, over the weekend.
Most of the photos have yet to be released of the ceremonies, but one of his Cavs teammates, Tristan Thompson, was on the scene, alongside his two brothers.
Check out some of the photos from the blissful affair along with other intimate pictures.
