It’s been a summer of retooling for our guys on Madison.

Exit former MVP Derrick Rose and long time Bulls fan favorite Joakim Noah.

WadeEnter center Robin Lopez who the Bulls acquired via the Rose trade, who is respected league wide for his motor and defensive prowess, and longtime Bulls foe, Rajon Rondo, who sounds ready to give the Bulls his best effort after a successful bounce back season with the Sacramento Kings.

But the biggest splash of this summer is the surprise signing of Dwyane Wade, who was left hanging by Pat Riley and the Miami Heat.

Whether or not you consider it fair to say that the Heat’s trash is the Bulls treasure, there is no doubt that Wade is easily the biggest superstar in a Bulls jersey since “His Airness.” It was quite evident at Friday’s introductory press conference that there is a new sheriff in the “Madhouse on Madison” and he goes by the name of “DWade.”

#TheBIGS were on the scene as the Bulls kicked off the “DWade” era in Chicago. Putting on display all of the class and professionalism that Wade has become known for in his 13 year NBA career, Wade discussed how he has been connected to the Bulls since he was drafted in 2003, his road back to his hometown, how he and his family plan to impact the Chicago community, and his plans to help assist his “young Bull”, Jimmy Butler into blossoming into the league’s next Superstar.

Check out the video below for all the happenings from #DWadeDay at the Advocate Center, including analysis of the press conference by #TheBIGS and appearances from Taps Gallagher and Kenny McReynolds.
