Terrence Howard has been busy. In addition to having roles in three television shows at the same time —with Empire being his most popular— the 47-year-old is now preparing for his fifth child.
The announcement was made in living color as he and his pregnant wife, Mira Pak, walked Empire’s For Your Consideration red carpet. As reported by PEOPLE, this will be Howard’s fifth child, after Heaven, Hunter, Aubrey and Qirin. He and Pak were married in 2013 and reconciled after divorcing last July.
While the couple have had their ups and downs —initially marrying after dating for allegedly one month— they seem to be working out their differences.
“She has to be up with him all throughout the day,” he told PEOPLE about their first son together, Qirin. “I wasn’t born with boobs, I’ve started growing some recently. She has the boobage and nurses him during the day. So, I pull night duty, so that she can sleep and I keep him with me.”
Also in attendance for the event was Taraji P. Henson, Jussie Smollett, newlyweds Trai Byers and Grace Gealey, Serayah, and Gabourey Sidibe. Henson seemed surprised to see the baby bump on Pak, but were not sure if she knew beforehand.
Either way, congrats are in order.
Howard was also announced to be in the upcoming The Best Man Wedding film, reprising his role as Quentin. As of April, filming had not begun yet.
