Love & Hip Hop is the reality show where everyone and their momma (because everyone’s momma is on the show) has a business. From record labels to waist trainer companies to shoe stores and management companies, the entrepreneurial spirit of the ratchet cast is strong.

But honestly, we’re really proud of Love & Hip Hop alum, Benzino who just recently opened up his own restaurant, Benzino’s Crab Trap in Marietta, Georgia. Turns out being fired from Love & Hip Hop wasn’t a bad thing because that’s opened up some time for ‘Zino to sink his claws into his restaurant.

Benzino is no stranger to running things. As the editor of Hip Hop Weekly, he leads a group of journalists to deliver the latest in hip hop, but in this Crab Trap, he’s King Crab.

Hailing from Boston, where snow crab legs are a plenty, Benzino used his family’s tasty secrets to offer the best in crab. The opening boasted fellow reality show stars, Honey Boo Boo, Momma June and Sugar Bear.

And this isn’t the only business for Benzino, he said in an interview that also planned on opening a nightclub in the same shopping center as the Crab Trap. This time, it won’t be with former business partner, Stevie J. Congrats to Benzino, who joins a list of Black celebrities who have ventured into the restaurant business.
