As one of the nation’s largest free jazz festivals, the event will have a great impact on Atlanta’s economic development.
“The impact of the Atlanta Jazz Festival will be in the tens of millions of dollars…families no matter where they are from in the city will get to enjoy our historic Piedmont Park and will get to relax and enjoy world class artists at no cost,” said Mayor Kasim Reed.
“Great cities have great art and great artists.”
The festival will feature musicians from around the world on May 22 – 24 at Piedmont Park. The event will consist of multiple stages, shopping, food, vendors, and a kidzone.
“We have an incredible roster of musicians coming to Atlanta from around the world to perform at the 38th Annual Atlanta Jazz Festival over Memorial Day Weekend,” said Camille Russell Love, Executive Director of the City of Atlanta Mayor’s Office of Cultural Affairs.
