Beyonce banked a whopping $115 million over the past year, enough to secure her comfy seat atop Forbes’ newly-released list of the highest-paid women in music.
Most of Bey’s earnings came from “The Mrs. Carter World Tour” as well as the surprise release of her self-titled album last December. Endorsement deals with make-up brand L’Oreal and Pepsi also padded her account.
Queen B earned more than double from the previous year, when she was ranked at number four on the Forbes list.
Taylor Swift came in a distant second with $64 million, followed by P!nk with $52 million. Rounding out the top five are Rihanna ($48 million) and Katy Perry ($40 million).
Earnings were calculated from June 2013 to June 2014 and examined income from touring, record sales, publishing, merchandise sales, endorsements and other ventures.
