Metra, the United States Marines, and PODS® of Chicago are spreading holiday cheer tomorrow collecting Toys for Tots at all downtown Metra stations.

Hoping to transform its trains into Santa’s sleds, Metra will be delivering toys from riders to Millennium, LaSalle Street, Chicago Union Station, Van Buren and the Ogilvie Transportation Center, where Metra workers and Marines will collect toys from commuters between 6a.m. to 1p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 11th.

Also, Metra Interim Executive Director, Don Orseno, will join the Marines to greet and thank riders who donate toys at the LaSalle Street Station (located at 414 S. LaSalle St.)from 6:30a.m. to 7:30a.m., as well as at Millennium Station (located at Randolph and Michigan Ave.)from 7:40a.m. to 8:30a.m.
