Grammy Nominated Musician and Producer Brandon Williams is on a mission to be one of the ambassadors to usher in the return of great music. After releasing his successful first single, “Stronger” feat. Jean Baylor (formerly of Zhane), he’s releasing “Godsend” , the second release from his forthcoming album “XII” (Spring 2014). The single features native Detroiters, De’Sean Jones on saxophone and Jon Dixon of piano. Williams is making the single available for free download until November 25th via his website. http://www.bwilliamsmusic.com. The single is also on iTunes, Amazon MP3, and Google Play.

Written, Produced & Arranged by Williams, “Godsend” is a powerful interlude that brings to mind the tradition of great interludes that could be found on albums by Earth, Wind & Fire, Mint Condition, and Stevie et al. This is music that creates a mood and places you in the middle of the action and is timed just right so that even as your audio palette has been satisfied, you want more. So what do you do??? Press play again and again. Williams says, “The feeling I want people to get when they listen to this song is the same feeling they should get when they look at the person they feel is their, Godsend.”

Williams, a direct protégé of Grammy and Billboard super producer Michael J. Powell, is a powerhouse of musical knowledge and ability.
