You work hard all day, and sometimes, you just can’t wait until the weekend it unwind. The good thing is, you don’t have to. There are a ton of happy hour spots around Detroit to check out and de-stress to clear your mind from a difficult day and power through the rest of the week.
1701 Cigar Bar on Wednesday’s is definitely worth a look. 1701 is located in downtown Detroit on Cadillac Square and Randolph. On Wednesday’s, the bar features Wine Down Wednesday’s for business professionals to socialize and network with like-minded people and enjoy a sophisticated, sexy atmosphere. There’s a complimentary buffet drink specials and live music. Last week’s menu was barbeque ribs, chicken, macaroni and cheese and mixed vegetables.
Get there early to take advantage of the half off drink specials and try the Pink Stiletto which was a crowd favorite.
Finally, groove to the live music, courtesy of Eric “Rain Man” Gatson and DJ Rick Flair, known together as The Formula.
And ladies, 1701 is not a “Boy’s Only” club. They feature a wide range of cigars that cater to a woman’s taste, including the Acid Blonde and Latte Surprise which pairs perfectly with a cappuccino.
Tomorrow is Wednesday. I highly recommend wearing your “all-purpose dress” to work tomorrow and head straight to happy hour for Wine Down Wednesday’s at 1701 Cigar Bar.
