Rihanna’s love affair with the fashion industry is apparent. The pop star is the executive producer of the fashion reality show “Styled to Rock,” she designs asignature collection of threads for River Island, her Instagram feed is a virtual runway showing off her impressive collection of designer duds and jealousy-inducing adventures amongst fashion royalty.
And it’s safe to say that fashion loves her back. Case in point, Rihanna has been tapped as the new face of Balmain.
We’re not completely shocked by the news — Rihanna and Balmain’s creative director, Olivier Rousteing, haven’t been shy about their friendship and admiration for each other.
