Harsh reactions to ‘Real Housewives of Potomac’

The “Real Housewives of Potomac” got off to an inglorious and disreputable start, according to the viewers who got their first glance at the latest incarnation of the “Real Housewives” franchise from BRAVO TV.
The audience recoiled at the the women’s pretentiousness and haughtiness, as they flagrantly looked down on people who subsist on government programs as well as the working class, and social media was far from kind in their assessments of cast members’ collective character.
The RHOP cast of six black and biracial women in the prosperous D.C. suburb in Montgomery County, Md. must have thought, for example, no one would take umbrage with their  callous denunciations of those on “Section 8” and in the “ghetto,” or they are just tone deaf from a cultural standpoint. But viewers certainly seethed at what they viewed as the women’s faux wealth and troubled tresses. Take a look at what the audience had to say in response:
