The nation has been in an uproar over the latest killings of Black men at the hands of white police officers, spurring the hashtags #AltonSterling and #PhilandoCastile going viral along with the resurgence of #BlackLivesMatter.
There were protests in major cities throughout the country on Thursday in reaction
to these murders, including the #BlackLivesMatter protest in Dallas Thursday night during which five police officers were killed and another seven were injured.
We went to downtown Chicago today to hear some reactions to the police brutality and violence in the country.
