Illinois Doberman Rescue Adoptathon

Date: Sunday, December 14, 2008
Phone: 847.277.1082
Location: Family Dog Center of Illinois, Crystal Lake - Search in Maps
Details:

Available dogs from Illinois Doberman Rescue Plus (IDR) will be gathered from 12 pm on December 14, 2008 at Family Dog Center of Crystal Lake, 6200 Berkshire Drive, in hopes of finding them loving homes. In bringing around 20 of the available dogs to one place, IDR Adoptathons make it easier for potential adopters to meet, learn about and connect with possible new canine companions.

"IDR is such a great organization," commented Heather Skillicorn, a previous adopter and volunteer. "When my husband and I were going through the adoption process, I remember how helpful everyone was. Of course we had many things to consider, such as energy level, sociability, temperament, personality quirks, etc, and what kind of characteristics would best fit into our lifestyle. The great thing about IDR's adoptathons is that you can gather all that information, on more than one dog, all in one place, and potentially find a good match to take home that day."

While only approved adopters can take home a dog that day, anyone interested in adopting a Doberman, learning about the breed or about IDR is welcome to come meet the dogs and ask any questions they have.
