LOS ANGELES – Last night, TLC hosted an exclusive screening of their first-ever scripted series, “Tyler Perry’s Too Close to Home” at the Paley Center for Media. Show creator/director/writer Tyler Perry and TLC president and general manager Nancy Daniels were on hand to present the first episode and participate in a post-screening question-and-answer with cast members Heather Locklear,  Danielle Savre (Bring It On: All or Nothing), Brock O’Hurn (Tyler Perry’s Boo! A Madea Halloween), Kelly Sullivan (“The Young and the Restless”), Matt Battaglia, Brooke Anne Smith (“Awkward”) and Brad Benedict (“NCIS”).

This follows the TV junket and premiere of “Too Close to Home” TLC and the movie mogul hosted in Atlanta last week. 

Additional “Too Close to Home” cast in attendance were Ashley Love-Mills (“Nashville”), Annie Thrash, Alpha Trivette (“Drop Dead Diva”), Nick Ballard, Charles Justo, Trisha Rae Stahl (“Glee”), Christian Ochoa, Curran Walters, Robert Craighead and Justin Gabriel.

Also in attendance were Tyler Perry Studios president Ozzie Areu and producer Mark E. Swinton, tv personality Claudia Jordan, Renee Lawless (“The Haves and the Have Nots”), Flex Alexander and Shanice Wilson (“Flex & Shanice”), Michael Jai and Gillian White, Golden Brooks (“Hollywood Divas”), Edwina Findley-Dickerson (OWN “If Loving You is Wrong”), Kym Whitley, Patrice Lovely (“Love Thy Neighbor”), Timon Durrett (“Queen Sugar”), Allen Maldonado (“Ringside”), Miles Brock (“Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood”) and many more.

“Tyler Perry’s Too Close to Home” debuts Monday, August 22 at 9PM ET/PT for a two-hour premiere.
