Sources close to Tracy Morgan addressed the former “30 Rock” star’s current condition in the aftermath of that deadly six-vehicle crash on the New Jersey Turnpike that killed Morgan’s comedy writer and seriously injured another comedian friend.
Lewis Kay told the media that rumors saying Morgan is facing the amputation of one of his legs are “completely fabricated,” and that Morgan has been slight upgraded to “critical but stable” after having surgery on a broken upper leg.
The spokesman also adds that Morgan’s recovery “will be arduous.”
