CHICAGO (AP) — Members of a parents’ group say they’ll support striking Chicago teachers even if they vote to continue their walkout.

Teachers in the nation’s third largest school district entered their seventh school day on strike Tuesday.

Later in the day, Chicago Teachers Union delegates are scheduled to vote on whether they’d call off the strike or hope to continue negotiations.

Parent Erica Clark is part of the group Parents 4 Teachers. She says teachers, students and parents have little trust for Chicago education officials.

The group is delivering 1,000 postcards to the Chicago Board of Education, calling for a fair contract and other issues like smaller class size.
