A former reality star recently donated 100 prom dresses to a South Side high school. Tiffany Torrence Davis of Oxygen Network’s reality show hit “Bad Girls Club” Season 3 made giving back to the community her primary focus and surprised students at Fenger high school with the formal dresses. Stemming from having four of her own prom dresses she felt seeing girls wear her dresses and bring them back in style would be a good idea. “I put it all together and made it happen,” Davis told the Defender. Growing up on the South Side, St. Francis de Sales High School alumni said the many stories of young men and women push her to continue impacting her community. “Some of their stories are just mind-changing. These women and young guys have been through so much…so much more than I’ve ever been through. It pushes me to keep going,” she said. “It pushes me to say you know what you have somebody here who is trying to help you. You have someone here who you can talk to.” Davis wants the youth to know there are people who are genuine about giving back and that they have someone who is trying to help them. She has already started planning for the clothing drive that will be held this summer and plans to connect with shelters and host what will be her first annual clothing drive.
