Quite simply, smoking maims and kills! If there is one thing that you can do, if you smoke, to improve your state of health and extend your life, it is to stop smoking. However, when you smoke around family members, friends and the general public, you force them to participate in this deadly “game” as well. This is through their exposure to second-hand smoke.

When you smoke, you not only put yourself at high risk for cancer, heart attacks and strokes, but you also increase these risks for family members as well.

Also, second-hand smoke can result in chronic bronchitis and asthma in your children. It puts them at higher risk for the development of cancer.

They are also more likely to become smokers themselves. Smoking is also a leading cause of house fires.
