The 8th annual Dinner of Champions honored 31 city championship teams from the Public League’s high school sports programs. Also honored at the dinner were the four CPS state championship teams: Marshall high school (girls’ and boys’ basketball), North Lawndale College Prep (boys’ basketball) and Whitney Young (girls’ basketball).

The Morgan Park high school pom-pom squad took first place an Illinois Drill Team Association competition this school year. The ladies were also recognized at the Chicago Public Schools Dinner of Champions.
